Free Stuff!! Blog Giveaway!!

One of our ETC team members, Cindy of Wiseimpressions is having a blog giveaway of a lovely fall bookmark.

Cindy makes sweet little pottery dishes, bookmarks, magnets, etc.
This is one of my favorite pieces from her shop:

Her prices are extremely reasonable for handmade and handpainted. Her pieces are very cute and would make lovely gifts.

I'm planning to give all my son's teachers a "handmade basket" of goodies for Christmas this year. So I'm already looking and thinking and trying to decide what to put in them. Of course, I will make something for the baskets, but I also want to put in some of the items I love from some of my team mates shops. I think they are going to turn out great. I have my eye on some magnets from Cindy's shop for my baskets.

Cindy is doing a blog giveaway every week in her shop, right now. This week, she is giving away a fall bookmark.
Go
HERE to the WiseImpressions blog to sign up. Maybe you'll be the winner - or maybe I will :)

Deadline to sign up for a chance to win the sweet fall bookmark is Monday - that's tomorrow!! So do it now!!
And remember, she's having a giveaway every week, so keep checking back.

**(for some reason, blogger is not letting me post a pic of the giveaway prize but you can go to Cindy's blog to see it)

And the stockings were hung...

...by the chimney with care, In hopes that Saint Nicholas soon will be there.Yes, I know it's not a real fireplace. It's just an antique mantle - but we pretend that it's a fireplace. And Santa can still come in through it because he's magic.

I'm still having Free Shipping and Free Gift Wrapping at two of my online shops - Handmade Whimzy and Pink Pear Designs. Need a last minute holiday present? Order today!

Introducing my new ribbon bookmarks!

My mini ribbon bookmarks were so popular with the people in my etsy street team when we did our promo swap that I decided to make more, in coordinating colors and put them for sell in my etsy shop.

They are cute and fun to make. They are perfect for paperbacks and small books. I'm selling them as sets of three, so you can keep one and give the other two away - or just keep all three! LOL They would also make great stocking stuffers or "extras" attached to the top of gifts.

You get three in coordinating colors for only $9.00

Black Friday is here!

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone (and been eaten) and it's now time to start frantically shopping for Christmas. The newspaper was full of stories this morning about people sitting outside retail stores since 11:30 am Thanksgiving day, waiting for the big sale. I personally, never go out on Black Friday. The idea of being crowded in a building with lots of other people and then standing in line forever trying to pay for something, gives me the heebee geebees.

It's also time to start the old Christmas decorating. If your looking for a beautiful, fresh cut tree - look no further than Plantation Pines Christmas Tree Farm in Tyler, Texas. They have beautiful trees in a gorgeous country setting with FREE hot chocolate and a wonderful gift shop where you can do all your shopping. I am selling my jewelry pieces in their gift shop for the second year in a row and I hope everyone really enjoys them. I've taken some really pretty pieces out there so if your in the area, stop in and browse. Even if your not in the market for a fresh tree, the gift shop is worth the drive. Check out their website at http://plantationpinesfarms.com. You will not be disappointed.

Happy Holidays!
