Field of Sunflowers

Driving through drought stricken South Texas a couple of weeks ago, we came across this beautiful field of sunflowers.

Enjoy.

Sunflowers, as far as the eye can see.

  1. When I lived in Texas I would pick field flowers that grew in the field next to our house and pop into a glass and set them on the table. Every one laughed and called them weeds, but I thought they were pretty.

  2. I don't call them weeds. I call them wildflowers - even when they grow in my flower bed. :)

  3. Wow! I have never seen a field of sunflowers in person in my life. One dream I have to look forward to! I love sunflowers so much! They grow so big and tall and all look so happy!
You are so...lucky to have grabbed this beautiful photo and to have seen them in real life!

Thanks so much for reading my blog and leaving a comment. I read every comment and try to reply to most of them although it may take me a couple of days - I'm a bit slow.
