Well, today was the first day of school. It almost kills me every year. I wonder, does it ever get any easier?? Even my sons teacher was melancholy about her own kids starting back.
He had a great day though, and that's what's important.
No one ever told me motherhood would be so heartbreaking and so uplifting at the same time. Like when he got into the car at the end of the day and asked if I missed him. I said I did and he said he missed me too (and his dog). LOL. I hope I rated slightly higher than the dog but I'm not sure. LOL.
